Concrete is curing: Sunday service is offsite this week!

IMG_1616   It’s not very often that a church will say “Please, DON’T come here.” This is one of those rare occasions. Remember I talked about the need for temporary inaccessibility to become fully accessible? Well, that’s what we’re dealing with here at Unity. From Thursday June 19 to Monday June 23 our church building will be closed so that concrete which has been poured (as part of our ongoing accessibility project) will have a chance to cure (that means set up and dry for people like me who can’t speak “builder”.) We regret this inconvenience. As luck would have it, the worship committee had chosen June 22, 10:00am as the date and time to worship aboard The S.S. Keewatin in Port McNicoll. The timing was/is perfect.   keewatin Please note: The Keewatin is an historic ship. As such, it has many staircases. Washrooms are located ashore: there are none aboard for public use. (Google Keewatin and Port McNicoll to get directions if you’re planning on coming).
