Working from Home March 12, 2014

IMG_1109Another morning in March, another snow day. That picture is on the 400 Northbound.

Yesterday, the weather was gorgeous—denim jacket wearing weather, sunshine streaming through the car window weather, crank up the tunes and roll the window down weather (until you realize it’s not THAT warm.)  The outside temperature according to my car’s thermometer was 7 degrees. Seven! Perfect day for the drive to Presbytery meetings. (Close to 7 hours worth!)

But that was yesterday.

And today, we have this…with the possibility of the temperature dipping to -29.

So, I will be working from home today. Unity folk know how to reach me. If you need to reach me and you’re not sure how to do that, drop me a line through this website. I’ll be checking it a LOT today. (Please click “>>” to see the rest of the message)

Gifts We Don’t Ask For But Get Anyway

Sometimes, surprise gifts can cause problems…..(Please click “>>” to see the rest of the message)

Godly Play for Adults, March 2 @ 8:30am

Written by Unity United Church. Posted in News

IMG_0922What you see here are just some of the Godly Play resources that we get to touch and during our time together. (You can also see my boots at the edge of the discovery table. I didn’t crop the picture. Sorry.)  I don’t think we’ll be using these crosses on Sunday. I should have picked one up to show you how close we can actually get to the materials— but hey, I wanted you to see the whole table.

If you are wondering what we’re going to do this week….
if you’re wondering whom we are going to encounter….
if you are wondering how God is going to show up in our time together, bring  your imagination and your willingness to share to Godly play for Adults this Sunday, March 2 at 8:30am. The coffee is warm and so is the fellowship. See you there!
