World Day of Prayer service will be held on
March 6 at 2 pm at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Victoria Harbour. This year’s service was written by the women of The Bahamas. Offerings provide grants in Africa, Asia, South and Central America, the Caribbean and Canada. All regions share in the grants according to the greatest needs and are geared toward women’s causes.
St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, St.Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and Unity United Church collaborate in presenting this service each March. Men, women and children are very welcome. (There is even a tasty treat following the worship service.)
